12 Malvern Star Radmax Boys Bike

Tough looking little bike.

Malvern Star has been around since 1903, and originated in Malvern, Victoria, although they didn't produce little kids bikes back then.

This little bike is a great compromise. It is designed for 2-4-year-old boys and is simple, good quality, and hopefully, won't break the bank. It has a back pedal brake as they are much simpler to use for younger kids. Some cheaper bikes have handbrakes, but kids hands are not strong enough to operate them safely, so back pedal brakes are best.

The bike has plenty of adjustments available to suit a growing child. The handlebars can be raised or lowered, as well as moved forward or back to increase or reduce the reach and the saddle can also be raised, lowered and moved forward or back.

It has a fully enclosed chain guard so that no little prying fingers can access it, and it keeps their clothes clean.

The paint finish is durable, and will even survive being left outside, although our kids wouldn't do that, would they? We have them in stock ready to go, and you are welcome to bring your child in for a test ride.

The training wheels are best removed as soon as your child starts to get their balance. They learn to lean the wrong way when cornering if left on.

At $129 the bike is quite inexpensive and the Radmax comes fully assembled with a 10-year guarantee (and 2 free services). It saves the heartache of trying to assemble it yourself.
