We have a range of small framed 26" wheel bikes, that are often an ideal option for a taller 8, 9 or 10 year old, who could perhaps still ride a 24" bike, but will grow out of it in no time.
Once kids have progressed through the various wheel sizes, 12", 16", 20" and 24" the next step is 26", where an option of different frame sizes becomes a possibility. An extra small 13" frame or a small 15" frame is ideal for those taller 8 to 10 year olds and conversely for some shorter teenagers.
We often have other options, but by far our biggest sellers in this size are the Swift and Strike for girls and boys respectively, usually with up to 4 colour choices in each.
Being designed especially with this age bracket in mind, the bikes have been made quite light weight to make riding and manoeuvring as easy as possible. Complexity has been kept to a minimum, with a simple 8 speed gear system and lightweight alloy front forks instead of heavy suspension, making them the ideal bike for anyone of a certain height.
