BallisTec is comprised of the most advanced carbon materials (it’s layers of different carbon fibres) and forming techniques - in the world. Specific to the Synapse, BallisTec enables Cannondale to control the exact carbon layup and therefore control the exact ride qualities they want the Synapse to deliver in different parts of the frame; maximum stiffness in the bottom bracket area, head tube and downtube, and compliance or flex in the seat post, fork and seat stays.
