  The Quick 4 is designed for the rider seeking a lighter, faster and comfortable commuting or recreational alternative; its frame geometry is relaxed and efficient, perfect for the rider seeking a touch more comfort. 

   The Quick is designed for any rider, especially those new to flat bar road bikes, yet willing to invest slightly more to get better equipment for a smooth and reliable ride.

   This Cannondale uses a carbon fibre fork to dampen high-frequency road vibrations; improving comfort and reducing shock transfer to the hands and arms. It’s also slightly lighter than a conventional steel or aluminium fork, which means a lighter front end and better steering control. Another great feature is the steering design, whereby there is additional clearance to prevent the riders foot hitting the front wheel.

   Cannondale employs a Shimano 27-speed drive-system that comprises of Shimano Altus and Deore components. In short it’s a well built, good quality upper mid-level drive train suitable for moderate-heavy use. Furthermore, the majority of the drive train is built with high-quality components including the cassette and bottom bracket (which is sealed to prevent water and dirt contamination), this allows the cranks to roll smoother and results in greater longevity of the drive train.

  Gear ratios are also convenient, allowing the rider to use the bike in flat terrain and rolling hills with ease.

  Double wall rims ensure a rigid wheel that will be difficult to buckle under normal use and fast Schwalbe Spicer tyres, which feature strong puncture protection, which will appeal to both commuters and recreational riders.

   Another feature that will be appealing to commuters is the reflective decals both on the frame and the tyres, to increase rider safety at night.
