Cannondale has responded to requests and produced a fast, light hybrid with hydraulic disc brakes! TheTektro units found on the Quick 5 are durable, reliable units that don't require much fussing around with. Resin pads combined with 160mm rotors ensure quiet powerful braking without your wheels losing traction. Moving the braking surface from the rim to steel discs dedicated to the job ensure your rims don't wear down with lots of wet-weather braking. That's great news for all-weather commuters!

The Quick 5 shares the same DNA with the rest of the Quick range, which means a super tough C3 alloy frame which stands up to the abuse of everyday commuting, and a light enough bike that ensures you stay fresh after that long commute to work.

Couple that with a comfortable saddle, slick shifting Shimano Acera/Altus 27speed drivetrain, Schwalbe puncture resistant tires, this is the ultimate affordable commuting machine!
