The Xtc has a high-grade carbon frame, which provides an ideal combination of stiffness and comfort. Sure it is not as comfortable as a dual suspension bike, but it is a few kilos lighter with much faster acceleration.

It is fitted with Maxxis Ikon tubeless tyres on lightweight tubeless carbon wheels. If if you desire more traction it will take 27.5+ wheels and tyres, and it has Boost spacing to allow stronger, more rigid wheels.

The advanced carbon frame is a delight to ride, light and responsive with great handling The use of carbon instead of aluminium has several advantages. The material is lighter and stronger to start off with, but the real advantage is that the material can be manipulated to provide greater strength where rigidity is needed or less where greater comfort is desirable. 

The Xtc Advanced 1 is fitted with RockShox SID's with Boost to allow stronger wheels to be fitted. The 100mm travel is ideal for XC or single track allowing rapid acceleration and excellent climbing ability. The remote lock-out is a great benefit, especially if you use the bike for a bit of commuting as well as fun riding

Sram Gx Eagle provides the confidence to shift under extreme loads and the 10-50t rear cassette has a surprisingly useful range. It is more than adequate for the type of riding this bike is designed for.
