The top of the line Roam 0 uses the same frame and geometry as the other Giant Roam models and its practicality and versatility are evident in how well it rides and accommodates different terrains and surfaces.
The Roam 0 performs more efficiently on trails and paths than a mountain bike and yet still provides an excellent ride when on regular sealed roads. A capable machine for practically anywhere that you want to ride, such as rail trails, bike paths, city streets or country roads.
Fitted with a pair of Suntour NCX-E LO air suspension forks, the Roam 0 has a super comfy ride, however with the flick of a switch, the suspension can be locked, so that the front becomes rigid, allowing a performance increase, which can be particularly useful on smooth roads or steeper hills.
A 20 speed drive train, (2 at the front and 10 at the rear), covers all combinations of ratios, from fast flat road riding to the harder slog of climbing hills with loaded pannier bags.
Topping off the main component list are the Shimano MT400 hydraulic disc brakes, providing awesome stopping power, but perhaps more importantly, consistent stopping, no matter whether it is a day when the sun is blazing or a day that prompts your neighbour Noah to start building a boat.
