It seems a bit unfair to call this an entry level bike. Sure, the price indicates that is toward the lower end of things, but the components that go to make up the bike tell a different story.

Giant Liv Enchant 2 2016

It seems a bit unfair to call this an entry level bike. Sure, the price indicates that is toward the lower end of things, but the components that go to make up the bike tell a different story.

Alloy frame, 21 speed Shimano gears, suspension forks, quick release alloy wheels, easy rolling path tyres and a side stand all seem to say mid range, but there is no getting past the price of just $479.

As a first full size bike for a young lady approaching her teenage years or an adult who sees themselves riding purely for fun, the Enchant 2 is really worth considering.

With a basket or a rear rack, it's not hard to envisage a young girl riding off to school on one of these, or mum escorting the kids to school on one of her own.

Very traditional in many ways with 26" wheels, low frame height, standard V brakes and simple push button gear shifting, the Enchant 2 is an uncomplicated bike that will ensure every ride is a fun ride.

With the same easy rolling tyres as the Enchant 1, the Enchant 2 is suitable for use on a wide range of surfaces from concrete or bitumen roads to the varied surfaces of bike paths and rail trails.
