Giant has grown to become one of the most well known cycling brands in the world. Their vast product range is staggering and their quality, exceptional.
The Boulder 2 (2015) is part of Giant’s recreational mountain bike range; designed to be comfortable, stable and versatile. The Boulder 2 is an inexpensive option for adults that are not generally cyclists, and for ‘tween and teens getting their first quality adult mountain bike.
The Boulder 2 has smooth semi-slick 2.1-inch wide tyres that provide sufficient traction on dirt, gravel and sealed surfaces. The large volume nature of the tyre means that whatever surface you’re riding over it’s going to be comfortable. Giant have engineered the geometry for a tall front end ensuring that your riding position remains relaxed and upright, complimented by the high rise 15 degree head stem.
Shimano gearing is featured throughout with 21 gears in total; enough to get up the steep inclines and rocket down the other side. Gear changes are smooth, precise and easy to actuate especially for those riders that do not have a lot of experience with gears.
Frame sizes range from XS through to XL. There’s a frame to suit all riders, from 10 year old and onwards.
Each new bike purchase also comes with a Lifetime Frame Warranty, 2 years on Shimano parts and 2 Free Services (valid within 12 months).
