GIANT ANIMATOR 16” KIDS BIKE

The Giant Animator is one of those kids bikes that ticks most of the boxes. It’s brimming with features that will ensure your kid has the most fun at the beginning of their cycling journey.

THE FRAME

Giant are master frame builders.The Animator is built with a strong, light and well made aluminium alloy. To make it even lighter, Giant has paired the frame with a light alloy seat post, head stem and rims.

SUITS A WIDE AGE RANGE

The sizing is perfect for average-sized 4 year olds and tall 3 year olds. The Animator’s low top tube allows us to adjust the seat very low. More importantly it also lowers the centre of gravity. A low centre of gravity, will give the Animator rider way more control than a bike that has a high top bar. Especially as the training wheels come off, it adds a lot more stability and less speed wobbles.

The Animator’s other secret weapon is its front steering. You see, it’s been slowed down to make the Animator more predictable for kids to steer and turn; adding several degrees of safety and helping the rider’s confidence grow.

EASY PEDALLING

3 piece cranks are uncommon on kids bikes. The only other brand that does these types of cranks is ByK. Big deal? Yes.

These types of cranks make pedalling a LOT smoother. Ever noticed how kids struggle to get the pedal at the top of the pedal movement? Well 3-piece cranks make it much easier for kids to do this.

SMOOTH, COMFORTABLE TYRES

Wide, semi-slick balloon tyres add more air volume. More air volume = more comfort. Especially on uneven surfaces. It’s just smoother.
