LIV GIANT VALL E+ 1 PRO (2019)
No matter whether you want to ride faster, go out on longer rides or simply want to get your fitness back, the Vall-E+ Pro will help you reach your expectations. Regardless of your fitness level, you can go exploring mountain trails or maybe just enjoy training at Lysterfield Park. Before long you will be ready to tackle Blue Derby, Kinglake or maybe some Single Black Diamond trails.
If Bulla appeals you can relatively effortlessly reach those mountain peaks and descend to the valleys below. With Vall-E+ Pro it is easier to coax along your fitness level while enjoying rides that you may not have been willing to tackle previously.
With an E-Bike epic rides are within your reach. In normal power setting the 500-watt battery will Provide assistance for over 50km, enough to climb for a couple of hours. Certainly sufficient for you to tackle almost anywhere you wish to go. Don’t forget the descent doesn’t require power, so the range is excellent.
The Pro motor has incredible power, a massive 80Nm of torque, and has 5 power settings. Climbing is easily controlled as you can select just the level of assistance that suits the terrain you are climbing. The lowest is 100%, then 175%, 250%, 300%, up to the massive 360% of your effort. Imagine climbing at 460% of your normal ability.
There are a few misconceptions that I should cover here.
There seems to be a concern that E-Bikes are hard to control. Don’t forget that the instant you stop pedalling the power stops. Yes instantly! With the 5 power settings there is always a suitable setting, and as soon as you ease off, so does the motor, there is no lag or forgetting to ease off the throttle. That is done for you. All you do is select the level of assistance required, and pedal as normal.
Next is the idea that you will lose fitness. Some research has been done, which indicates that you do not lose any fitness. In all likelihood, you will still apply as much effort as you previously did. You may simply use the bike more. It will certainly open up new avenues of fun and fitness for you.
The battery can be recharged in about 4 hours. But let’s say you ride a longer distance, you can give it a quick top-up of about 80% in 2 hours. Certainly on a longer ride, when you stop for a meal break at a friendly kiosk, you can give it a quick boost. On the lower setting, it will run for 100km or so, but steady climbing will easily halve that.
As a battery can be charged at least 500 times, it has the capability of 25 -50,000 km. That will provide a few years of pleasure.
We have a demo model ready for test riding. Come along for a test ride and find out for yourself how much fun these can be. You will come away with a huge smile.
