GT BMX
GT has been supporting BMX culture for decades. They are one the original BMX brands, bringing that whole space to life. GT did such a great job that we get customers in their 30’s and 40’s who want a GT BMX for their kids (and often for themselves too!).
We’ve got you covered for bikes like GT’s Air, Slammer, Performer, Conway Team Comp and BK Team Signature (scroll down for more information).
Our range starts off with the Air. It’s the pick of the bunch for those riders who are just starting out. But unlike most entry-level to mid-range BMX’s, the GT Air uses a stronger 3-piece crankset.
Its 20-inch top tube length is ideally suited for riders above approximately 155cm. The Air comes in yellow and trans black.
Next is the GT Slammer. It has a slightly lower crank height (5mm lower) and the lowest seat height is 10mm higher than the Air. This makes the Slammer a little more stable and grounded. The extra 50 bucks goes into a rear hub upgrade. The rear wheel rolls on better quality bearings so it’s going to be more durable.
Moving up, the GT Performer in Satin Black. The Performer is a mid-range street BMX that’s designed for taller riders (approximately 180cm) due to its long 21-inch top tube.
A sealed bearing bottom bracket and front hub, plus a semi-sealed rear hub also mean way less maintenance and super easy rolling.
GT’s Conway Team Comp is designed for the intermediate rider. Also a 21-inch top tube - perfect for adults or tall teenagers.
It has a complete Chromoly frame and fork. So, not only is it going to be lighter, it’s also a smoother ride and more resistant to corrosion.
