LIV TEMPT
First, the Tempt frame is different. It’s cleaner and a little lighter. All the Tempt’s have disc brakes and are available in 27.5” or 29” size wheels. The Tempt is ideal for family bike rides on trails, bike paths and even entry-level mountain biking.
There are 4 models of Tempt to choose from: (keep scrolling to the bottom)
Entry into the Tempt range starts with the Tempt 4 (a low number means higher level) at $749. This model has mechanical disc brakes, and an 8 speed Shimano drive system. Colours? Available in Terra Roza and Black Chrome.
Then we move to the Tempt 3 at $849. The extra $100 gets you hydraulic (instead of mechanical) disc brakes and exactly the same gears. Hydro brakes are better; smoother power, less maintenance and adjustable or smaller hands.
There are also 2 colour options - Purple Ash and Metallic Black.
Next in line is the Tempt 2 (at $949). Another $100 up delivers better gears (Shimano 9 speed) and better front suspension. Colour options include Ocean Wave and Liquid Metal.
Then we have the range topping Tempt 1 at $1,199.00. The $250 price jump gets riders better suspension and better gears. It’s also the lightest Tempt in the range. It’s designed for riders who want to take their bike off-road a bit too.
