Lay-By Terms and Conditions

A lay-by agreement allows you to secure a product and pay for it in two or more installments before taking it home. This makes it an excellent solution for Christmas or birthdays, as we can hold onto the item until you’re ready to collect it - keeping it a secret from curious eyes!

We require an initial deposit of 10% to secure the item for you. We place it on hold and in storage for the lay-by period. Our maximum lay-by period is 3 months. We require regular payments in fortnightly installments. The product(s) is released when full payment is received. A Lay-by can consist of more than one item, but individual items may not be released to the customer until the final payment is received.

  • Our maximum lay-by period is 3 months.

  • A minimum deposit of 10% of the lay-by is required when purchasing in-store or over the phone.

  • When placing an order online for a bike or scooter, if the value of your item exceeds $200, we will collect a $200 deposit at the time of checkout. Your order will automatically be placed on lay-by for collection in-store. One of our staff members will contact you to notify you once the item is ready. If you wish to continue the lay-by agreement for collection at a later date, our staff would be happy to assist you.

  • We require fortnightly payments towards the lay-by. You may pay more frequently if desired.

  • A Lay-by may consist of more than one item. Individual items may not be separated from a lay-by until final payment is received.

  • Lay-by is not available on selected clearance products or perishables such as food.

  • If this lay-by is cancelled by you, all monies will be refunded except a non-refundable cancellation fee.

  • We may cancel the lay-by if you fail to make payments when they are due or if your lay-by is uncollected after the lay-by period and attempts to contact you have been unsuccessful. In this instance we will cancel the lay-by, return the item to stock, and refund all payments except a non-refundable cancellation fee.

  • We may cancel the lay-by if the product is not available due to damage, stock error, or other unforeseen circumstances. In this instance we will fully refund all payments. There will not be a cancellation fee.
