GIANT ENERGYPAK PLUS - RANGE EXTENDER

The Giant EnergyPak Plus is a 238Wh range extender battery. It allows you to boost the capacity of your Giant electric bike, which already has a 500Wh or 625Wh integrated battery.

With the EnergyPak Plus, trail enthusiasts and long-distance trekkers can ride at high power levels without worrying about running out of battery (within reason).

INSTALLATION

To mount the Giant EnergyPak Plus, you’ll need to use the mounting holes on the down tube and the Range Extender Mounting Plate (do not mount on the bottle cage mounts).

Once the mounting plate is installed, simply snap the range extender into place and connect it to the charging socket.

During the ride, the main battery is used first, with the range extender kicking in only after the main battery is nearly depleted.

The transition from the main battery to the EnergyPak Plus is fully automatic and seamless.

EnergyPak Plus activates and takes over once the main battery’s capacity drops to 1-2%.

The EnergyPak Plus battery can be recharged using the e-bike’s charger with the adapter plate, so no additional charger is needed.

Charging can be done anywhere there is a power outlet.

Additionally, the range extender includes a USB charging port for charging a smartphone or laptop, allowing the additional battery to function as a large power bank.

NOTE: Theoretically the EnergyPak Plus is compatible with Giant Reign E+ 2022 (size M, L, XL only). But there have been reports of the cable leading to the charge port being too short. For this reason, purchase with caution.
