System engineered for use with the SHIMANO ULTEGRA R8000 groupset, the R8000 CASSETTE is available in a wide range of road and mixed surface ratios. It is compatible with HG-EV and HG-X11 CHAINs.

• HG-EV 11-SPEED CASSETTEs are 1.85mm wider than standard HG CASSETTEs. It seeks to deliver smoother gear shifts under load, better cadence management (you won’t feel like you’re missing a gears).
• HG-X11 CHAINs are designed for one direction. This allows SHIMANO to engineer specific areas of the CHAIN to hanlde upshifts and downshifts.
