Optima allows riders to explore new places with ease. Optima uses Mahle’s X35+ drive unit that delivers 40Nm of torque and above 25km/h, it’s drag free.

LIGHT AND FUN

Orbea designed the Optima to be lighter than most. A lot of this is the result of a advanced manufacturing of the Optima’s aluminium frame. Paired to one of the lightest e-bike drive units in the world. The Mahle X35+ weighs in at 3.5kg for the complete electronic system.

Both the lightweight drive unit and frame combine to produce an e-bike that delivers very natural bike handling.

SMOOTH AND COMFORTABLE

50mm wide tyres act as micro-suspension; allowing the Optima to roll smoothly over rough roads. Plus, delivering more grip and traction.
