What’s new with RS?

Our Generation 2 firmware and electronic system makes it possible to set the motors torque output up to 85Nm. Our MC tune is specially designed for the optimum trail riding experience.

The system offers two modes, RS and RS+. RS is the longest range mode, with lower torque for all those riders who have always loved how Rise rides.

RS+ takes advantage of the full 85Nm of torque to give a ride that feels natural and powerful when you are pushing harder.

Both these modes are configurable using the Shimano E-Tube app.

The Shimano EP family has some of the most accurate sensors and fastest monitoring capabilities on the market and our RS Gen2 firmware is designed to take advantage of that.

The result is instant, lag-free power which feels natural and alive.

15% More Power, Delivered At Lower Cadences

On technical trails, or steeper climbs typically pedalling cadences are lower.

Here many lightweight motor systems can struggle.

RS Gen2 provides up to 85Nm of torque, tuned to arrive at lower cadences to offer more assistance in these situations. The result is a bike which responds strongly at lower cadences, feeling alive and natural where others falter.
