Fox Mainframe.

The Mainframe is the most affordable helmet in Fox's MTB range.

But it's far from crappy.

It has far better coverage than most helmets at this price point; coming down deep on the sides and back of the head.

There's also a lot more volume of foam at the back and sides of the helmet for extra protection.

Plus,, the Mainframe and Mainframe youth are supported with MIPS.

Even though it's a MTB helmet, many of our customers who are safety conscious use it on rail trails, commuting and general use.

Fox Mainframe Helmet (2024)

Fox Speedframe.

Fox developed the Speedframe as a premium open-face MTB helmet. Like the Mainframe, coverage is deep where it matters.

The Speedframe is a little lighter (roughly 35 grams) and has more ventilation than the Mainframe too.

As a premium helmet, the Speedframe also features undermoulding.

This is where the plastic extends to the underside of the helmet. This leaves very little foam exposed to the elements, reducing the rate of deterioration and overall wear and tear.

Fox's Speedframe comes in 2 versions:

  • Speedframe
  • Speedframe Pro

The Speedframe uses Mips Essential Core. The Speedframe Pro uses Mips' Air Node layer.

The Pro also features up-spec components such as:

  • Dual-density Varizorb EPS which dissipates impacts better.
  • FIDLOCK SNAP magnetic helmet buckle.
  • Ionic+® liner for exceptional moisture wicking.
Fox Speedframe Pro Helmet 50 YR (2024)

Fox Dropframe.

Fox's Dropframe has the deepest coverage out of all of their open-face helmets.

It's available in 2 versions:

  • Fox Dropframe
  • Fox Dropframe Pro

The Dropframe Pro has the following upgrades:

  • Extended ear coverage
  • Adjustable BOA® Fit System
  • 3-position adjustable visor

Fox Proframe.

Fox designed the Proframe to be a premium,ventilated and lightweight Enduro full-face helmet.

It's the go-to helmet if you want to pedal for long hours and have the best possible protection.

In the early days, Enduro riders who wanted the protection of a full-face helmet had to sacrifice ventilation and weight.

Enduro riders pedal thousands of vertical metres up and down throughout a race, so this was not a workable solution.

Inflow of air is maximised around the front of the helmet, enhancing breathability. Weight is shaved wherever possible without sacrificing safety.

There are 2 versions of the Proframe:

  • Fox Proframe
  • Fox Proframe RS (Race Spec)

The RS verison gets:

  • BOA adjustable fit.
  • Mips Integra Split system.
  • Magnetic buckle.
