Bike Bags Ortlieb pannier bag

Bike Panniers

Bike panniers are bike bags that lock onto a front or rear pannier rack via hooks, straps or clips.

They sit on either side of your bike. Bike panniers are used by those who are commuting, touring and running errands.

They can store lightweight essentials like clothing and shoes, through to compact camping gear for multi-day trips.

Panniers can be sold as pairs or as singles.

Bike Bags Ortlieb Sport Roller pannier bag

Ortlieb Panniers

One of the best are Ortlieb's panniers.

Ortlieb specialise in panniers and are hand made in Germany.

We stock the following models:

Simply, the difference between both is the storage volume. The Back-Roller can store a total of 40L and the Sport-Roller 29L.

Due to the Sport-Roller's smaller size, it's suitable as a front and rear pannier bag.

Ortlieb makes both pannier bags from 2 different types of waterproof polyester fabrics: PD620, PS490.

PD620 is used in areas of the pannier bag where flexibility is required. Used in less stressed parts of the bag such as the sides and top.

PS490 is a heavier and more rigid fabric. This polyester fabric is used for the base and high-impact zones.

Bike Saddle Bags

Bike saddle bags come in a range of different sizes. From lightweight micro saddle bags for road bikes to massive 15L saddle bags for long distance touring.

Attachment systems include straps, clips, velcro and quick-release push button clamps.

Bike Bags Camelbak hydration bag

Cycling Backpacks

These are another type of popular bike bag.

In our collection, you'll see 2 types - with or without hydration. Plus, we've included cycling backpack high-vis covers.

Why not just use any backpack? Here's why:

  • Cycling backpacks stay moulded to your back with minimal movement.
  • Padded straps ease shoulder strain.
  • Back padding minimises a sweaty back and improves back comfort.
  • Multiple pockets help organise food, tools and repair kits.
  • Constructed from lightweight fabrics that minimises dead weight.
