At Ivanhoe Cycles, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent service.
All bicycles, parts and accessories sold at our stores (Heidelberg Heights, Hoppers Crossing, and Hallam) come with manufacturer warranties to ensure you receive the best support for your purchase.
1. Manufacturer Warranties
Every bicycle (composed of a frame and parts), accessory and part purchased from Ivanhoe Cycles is covered by Manufacturer's Warranty.
Warranty periods and coverage vary by manufacturer.
Please refer to the warranty documentation provided with your purchase for specific details.
2. Exclusions
Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., tyres, brake pads, chains, grips, etc.).
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, impact or neglect.
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs.
- Improper assembly (if not assembled by one of our mechanics).
- Accidental damage or damage caused by third parties.
3. Claim Process
If you have a legitimate issue covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, please follow these steps:
- Bring your bicycle, part or accessory to any of our stores (Heidelberg Heights, Hoppers Crossing, or Hallam) along with your proof of purchase.
- Our staff will assess the issue and assist with initiating a warranty claim with the manufacturer.
- Any repairs or replacements will be performed according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Note:
Without a proof of purchase, we cannot proceed with a warranty claim.
4. Processing Time
Warranty claims will be processed as efficiently as possible, but some claims may require additional time if parts need to be ordered from the manufacturer. We will keep you updated on the status of your claim.
