Kids Scooters

Kids scooters & toddler scooters are designed to provide a fun and safe way for children to develop balance, coordination, & motor skills.

Toddler scooters typically have three wheels for added stability, making them ideal for younger riders just learning to scoot.

They feature lightweight frames, adjustable handlebars & easy-to-grip handles for small hands.

Kids scooters, often for older children, are more advanced, with two wheels & more durable materials, offering smoother rides and faster speeds.

Both types are perfect for outdoor play and help promote an active & healthy lifestyle for kids.

How do I choose a kids scooter?

To make it easier, we will separate our kids scooter range into 3 types.

For riders less than 5 years old there’s toddler scooters with 3 wheels. This multi-wheel scooter is great for toddlers learning to build coordination and balance.

It’s also an excellent option for getting comfortable with a typical kick-push action that all scooters require.

Some options in our range include the Globber Primo V2, Globber Primo Plus Lights and the Globber Primo Foldable with Lights.

Side Note:

It’s also worth noting that Globber makes the GO UP range too.

This has 3 different configurations in the 1 product. Use as a walker, a ride on 3 wheel bike or transform it into a kick-push scooter.

Next, for riders from 5 years old, consider getting an adjustable 2 wheel kids scooter.

The handlebars on these scooters are adjustable. Kids grow like weeds at this age, so getting one that can accommodate for future growth makes sense.

Our range in this style of scooter consists of Globber’s Flow 125 series.

The Flow is available either with light-up wheels (called the “Lights” version) or without.

Both have adjustable handlebars too. The different heights are 82cm, 87cm, 92cm & 97cm (from the ground to the top of the handlebar).

Maximum rider weight is 100kg, so the Flow 125 can be used by small adults as well but we don’t recommend them for heavy use.

Lastly, we’ve got a Pro kids scooter.

Out of all three types, these are the most robust.

That’s because the pro scooters are designed to be used at skateparks practising new tricks. But kids Pro scooters are equally suitable for young riders who use their equipment a LOT.

They are also made from more rigid materials such as steel or aluminium and less plastic, so they “feel” more solid under the rider too.

But, the downside here is they add a bit more weight. And the handlebars are not adjustable. They are rigid and built like this for extra strength.
