SRAM’s latest Rival AXS groupset makes access to wireless electronic shifting much easier. The actual tech that powers Rival AXS is identical to that of SRAM’s top-tier Red AXS groupset.

Like all new AXS groupsets, Rival AXS is 12-speed. More range means climbing hills becomes easier, plus there’s a lot more gearing options than what were previously available.

Canondale has built the Supersix Rival AXS with a wide range gear ratio setup. This means if you’re not super fit at climbing hills, these ratios will make it a lot easier.

SRAM also uses slightly different ratios than Shimano does. The one used here has a 46T/33T front crank set paired to a 10T-33T rear cassette.

In Shimano-speak; a 50T/34T front crankset paired to a 11T-34T rear cassette. But compared to these ratios, the SRAM ones deliver 7.53% wider range (high gear +1.2% harder and low gear -5.88% easier).
