6, 7, 8 Speed Chains

In our collection of 6, 7 and 8 speed bike chains, the number is the amount of sprockets or gears your bike has on the back (this part is called the cassette).

Another way to check how many gears on your cassette, is to look at your right-hand side shifter.

You'll see some bike chains that are compatible with all three (6, 7, 8) amounts of gears and some that are compatible with either 7 or 8 speed cassettes (not 6 speed).
