Bicycle Lights

Bike lights used to mean one job: help a driver spot you in the dark. Today's bike lamps do a lot more than that. Between daytime run modes that make you stand out even in full daylight, smart brake sensors that automatically brighten upon decelleration, and radar-linked rear units, a modern bike light set is closer to an active safety system than a basic accessory.

Bicycle lights come in two categories. "To be seen" simply make sure other road users notice you, day or night. "To see" is for when you need enough raw output to actually light up the road or trail ahead of you.
