Bike Phone Holder Types

There’s 3 (general) types of bike phone holders:

  • Universal fitting, soft silicone holder.
  • A hard case for your phone paired with a handlebar mount (think Quad Lock).
  • Bags that have an integrated phone mount. These bags attach to your top tube; allowing easy access to your phone and items in your bag.

Soft Silicone Phone Holders

Silicone phone holders are designed to be universally fitting - both phones and handlebar diameters (22mm, 25.4mm, 31.8mm & 35mm).

The silicone stretches over the 4 edges of the phone, holding it securely in place.

Silicone's sticky texture stops the phone from moving. Plus, the silicone mount is able to absorb vibrations really well too.

Hard Case Phone Holders

First, you need a case. The case can be universal (like the Quad Lock Universal Adapter) or specific to your phone.

Second, there’s the bike handlebar mount.

Most brands will have a mount that is compatible with all common handlebar sizes. This means most of our phone holders will support recreational, road and mountain bikes. 

Quad Lock has an extensive range of handlebar mounts. These are:

  • Stem Mount (25mm - 40mm in diameter)
  • Out Front Mount (22mm, 25.4mm, 31.8mm, 35mm)
  • Out Front Mount PRO (22mm, 25.4mm, 31.8mm)
  • Stem Cap Mount (1 ⅛" or 28.6mm)
  • Stem Cap Adjustable Mount (1 ⅛" or 28.6mm)

Quad Lock Bike Phone Holders

Quad Lock do almost every type of phone holder - car, running, bike and motor bikes. 

Quad Lock bike cases are really well made.

A TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) edge-to-edge shell is used because of its ability to absorb shock and impacts.

Quad Lock then uses a soft touch material on the inside to minimise scratching to the phone. 

Quad Lock makes a case for (almost) every type of phone.

But if you don’t want to buy a specific phone case, you can get a Universal Adapter mount.
