The Shimano Tourney 7 Speed cassette delivers reliable shifting performance and features a rust-resistant treatment to prolong durability. "HG" stands for "HYPERGLIDE". Compared to conventional sprockets, the teeth on HG sprockets guide the CHAIN quickly and directly to the next sprocket without override (where the CHAIN rides up over the sprocket teeth) resulting in far less clunky gear shifts. So, it's smoother, faster and easier to change gears using a Shimano Tourney Cassette.
