9-SPEED SHIMANO ALIVIO HG400 11-34T CASSETTE
SHIMANO's HG41 ACERA level CASSETTE is suitable for mountain, hybrid and some road bikes that have an 8-SPEED compatible reear derailleur.
The 'HG' stands for Hyper Glide.
Compared to conventional sprockets, the teeth on HG sprockets guide the CHAIN quickly and directly to the next sprocket without override (where the CHAIN rides up over the sprocket teeth) resulting in far less clunky gear shifts.
