Maxxis High Roller 3 Folding
The legendary Maxxis High Roller 3 returns with an all-new hybrid tread design, but the same old winning ways.
The High Roller is posed to take its place between the Assegai and the Shorty in Maxxis’ lineup, and like the first-version of the High Roller, redraws the limits of what’s possible on a downhill bike.
This new intermediate tyre merges an open tread pattern with large, well-supported side knobs, a combination that allows for good soil penetration in wet weather and the traction and cornering control needed for dry and dusty conditions.
- 3C MaxxGrip rubber compound.
- EXO+, DoubleDown (2×120 TPI), or Downhill (2×60 TPI) casing options.
- 30-35mm rim width recommended.
- Tubeless Ready (TR).
- Recommended use: Intermediate enduro and downhill conditions.
- Recommended installation: Front or rear.
DD (Double Down)
Ideal for Enduro.
DoubleDown (DD) is our casing solution for enduro racing and e-bike use.
Two layers of our lightweight 120 TPI casing material are combined with a butyl sidewall insert to create a highly durable tyre with more trail feedback than a Downhill casing tyre.
DoubleDown tyres are marginally lighter than their Downhill counterparts, but it’s really the difference in “trail feel” that sets the two apart.
Some riders may prefer the highly damped ride provided by a Downhill casing tyre.
3C MaxxGrip
For ultimate grip, the 3C MaxxGrip compound uses the stickiest, slowest rebounding rubber we offer in a mountain bike tyre.
This high traction compound is the same one used by our top World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series athletes and is now available in a variety of casing configurations to cover all riders.
