The Altitude is Rocky's Enduro mountain bike.
The Altitude is raced around the world as part of the EDR series (mountain biking's equivalent to rally cars).

The frame is designed to deliver 160mm of rear wheel travel and is paired with a 170mm travel fork.
There's also an electric version of the Altitude; called the Altitude Powerplay.

Who is the Altitude for?
You should consider buying the Altitude if you're:
- Already riding a mid or short-travel Trail bike and it isn't enough. You're starting to bottom out of the suspension or the bike is starting to feel "unstable".
- Preference is to have a bike that is super calm and composed on raw, technical trails.
- An aggressive rider. You like attacking the trail versus taking it easy.
- Searching for an Enduro bike that is easy to pedal and move on the trail. The Altitude doesn't feel like a big, clumsy, heavy Enduro bike.
Yes, 9 different ways to setup your Altitude.
9? Are you sure?
Yes ser.
This feature is called Ride 9.
Look, it may sound over the top but if you don't wanna use it, leave Ride 9 in Neutral (position 5) and don't touch it.
The Altitude is super balanced here.
But for those who do want to extract a more out of the Altitude:
Position 1 delivers the most stability.
It's the lowest and slackest position; perfect for high-speed trails or raw, gnarly trails where you need the Altitude to feel calm under you.
And at the other extreme is position 9.
This position is for sharper handling and a higher ride height.
For riders who are transition from a hardtail or a short travel dual-suspension mountain bike, it's a good position to start from because it makes the Altitude feel more lively at low speeds.
As you get more comfortable with riding the Altitude at higher speeds, you can gradually go down the positions.
Oh, and there's 2 rear length positions.
So essentially, you can adjust how long you want the back of the Altitude to be.
There are 2 positions - Long and Short.
Why is this necessary?
- For riders who want snappy handling or are riding tight trails. The Short position delivers this.
- For riders the who are riding super fast flow trails where extra stability and calm is required.
Altitude Alloy 30
The Altitude Alloy 30 (or A30 for short) is the beginning of the range.
With current specials, the A30 build is extremely great value for riders who want the minimum affordable performance-level Enduro mountain bike.
Altitude Carbon 50
The Carbon 50 (or C50) is the start of the carbon frame Altitudes.
The extra frame stiffness results in better handling for more aggressive riders.
There's less "twisting" in the frame under hard corners and direction changes.
Less flex in the bottom bracket area also helps propel the bike forward.
