Bike Computers
Non-GPS bike computers are much simpler. They also come in 2 versions:
- Wired
- Wireless
Wired bike computers have an electric wire that connects the computer (attached to the handlebar) to the speed sensor (attached next to the wheel). This wire has to be wound around the front brake cable and secured with ties.
Wireless bike computers don't have this wire. The result is a much cleaner appearance. There's also no wire that is at risk of getting damaged.
Non-GPS bike computers will display:
- Speed
- Distance
- Time
And variations of these. For example, average speed, trip distance, total distance etc.
