DESIGN

Committed to the ultimate off road potential, the E450MTBD is a machine that inspires fun and adventure. While the enemy of kids MTB’s is typically sluggish handling and heavy weight, the ByK E450-MTBD is seriously light and has the performance to rival a World Cup bike.

Like the entire ByK Range, this is not a scaled down adult bike. Every single component has been considered, tested, custom sized and tuned to suit our rider’s profile. Our unique ergonomic riding position and geometry offer a range of riding positions and adjustability unexpected at this size.

The E-450 MTB is equipped with Microshift 8-speed gears, and off-road compatible suspension forks to be compliant and absorbing yet offer handling characteristics that cater for enthusiastic riders. Plus with the great weight savings over comparable bike sizes with clunky suspension offerings, the advantages to the rider of all levels is truly enhanced.

The E-450 offers responsive handling to increased safety at speed, with its innovative frame improves balance and control to help each rider operate at the safest level possible.

To make a children’s bike safe, the rider needs to be able to brake efficiently and confidently. The disc brakes have been custom-sized for age, ability and ergonomic fit. They are made of non-flexing, strong and light alloy.
