There’s a moment on the first ride where the Amflow PX Carbon Pro stops making sense.
You look down, expecting the bulk and inertia of a full-power eMTB and instead you’re riding something that feels closer to a lively trail bike. Then you hit Boost mode, spin the pedals and suddenly you’re climbing with 1500 watts and up to 150Nm of torque on tap.
That contradiction is exactly what defines this bike.
It’s not just powerful. It’s not just light.
It’s one of the first eMTBs that genuinely blurs the line between the two.
Motor & Power: Brutal on paper, refined on trail
At the heart of the PX Carbon Pro is the Avinox M2S motor. And it’s the headline act for a reason.
- 1500W peak power
- 150Nm boost torque (60s window)
- 2.6kg motor weight
- Highly tunable via app
On paper, those numbers sound excessive. In reality, they’re surprisingly usable.
The standout isn’t just the power, it’s how controllable it is. Power delivery is heavily cadence-driven, meaning:
- Low cadence = smooth, controlled crawling
- High cadence (90–110rpm) = explosive acceleration
That gives the bike a dual personality:
- Calm and precise on technical climbs
- Rapid and borderline absurd when you want it
Unlike many high-power systems, it doesn’t surge or buck. It feels measured—almost like brake modulation, but in reverse.
And critically: it’s quiet. The previous motor’s rattle is gone. Descending feels like riding a normal bike again.
Battery & Range: Big power, surprisingly usable range
- 700Wh internal battery
- Fast charging: 0–80% in approximately 1h 16min
- Optional dual battery system (approximately 600Wh extra)
Real-world use depends heavily on how you ride:
- Full “power hour” (max output): huge vertical, short duration
- Tuned modes ( approximately 800–1000W): about 2–3 hour rides
- About 1,400m climbing achievable in efficient mode
There’s a clear takeaway: This isn’t just about range, it’s about how much riding you can fit into that range.
Frame & Integration: The cleanest full-power eMTB yet
The first thing you notice isn’t the motor. It’s the frame.
The downtube is exceptionally slim. To the point where it barely looks like an e-bike.
That’s not just aesthetics. It changes how the bike feels:
- Lower visual bulk
- More natural handling
- Less “e-bike” perception on trail
Geometry & Adjustability: 40 ways to dial your ride
This is where the PX Carbon Pro quietly separates itself from almost everything else.
You get:
- 5 headset angle settings, 2 bottom bracket height settings and 4 chain stay length settings
- Adjustable head angle (approx. 63.4°–65°)
- Chainstay options (438–450mm)
- BB height adjustment
- Mullet or full 29 compatibility
That adds up to about 40 geometry configurations
In practice:
- Short chainstay and steeper angle makes it a playful, poppy trail bike.
- Long chainstay and slack angle
Few bikes adapt this well across riding styles.
Suspension & Ride Feel: Light, lively and slightly racy
Travel:
- 160mm front / 150mm rear
The feel is distinct:
- Firm, supportive, “racy” tune
- Not ultra-plush, but highly efficient
- Bottom-out is controlled and smooth
Compared to the previous generation, it:
- Tracks better
- Gets hung up less
- Feels more composed under load
Where it shines:
- Fast trail riding
- Technical climbs
- Jump lines and playful terrain
Where it’s not perfect:
- Full bike park smashing
- Ultra-rough, high-speed enduro
This is an aggressive trail/all-mountain bike first and not a downhill sled.
Components (Pro Build): Where the money goes
This is where the Pro earns its name.
Typical highlights include:
- Fox 36 Factory fork and Float X Factory rear shock.
- Carbon wheels and cockpit.
- High-end SRAM XO AXS T-type drivetrain with wireless electronic gears
- Magura Gustav Pro hydraulic disc brakes.
- Premium finishing kit
The build is cohesive: light, stiff, and designed to maximise the bike’s playful character.
Real-World Ride: What it actually feels like
On trail, three things stand out:
1. It feels lighter than it should
At about 21.5kg, it’s noticeably more agile than most full-power eMTBs.
2. It encourages you to play
Manuals, jumps, quick line changes. Tt behaves like a trail bike.
3. It climbs like nothing else
The combination of weight and power means:
- More laps
- More vertical
- Less fatigue
Who should buy the PX Carbon Pro?
This is for riders who want:
- The lightest feeling full-power eMTB
- Maximum versatility across trail types
- A bike that can be tuned to their riding style
- Top-tier components out of the box
If you’re chasing ultimate performance with zero compromises, this is the one.
