Friction in a brake system results in poor lever feel and slow, sticky performance. Jagwire maintains specific standards for friction and tests hundreds of inner wires every week to ensure these high standards are met and maintained. Lubricated and pre-stretched during the manufacturing process; Jagwire inner wires will ensure worry-free performance.

An upgrade from basic cables, these stainless steel strands are pre-stretched and extruded through a die that removes any rough edges. The result is a smooth surface that reduces friction along the length of the cable. These cables are the most popular choice for riders balancing performance, durability and cost. Stainless steel option offers greater resistance to corrosion.
