Geometry
The Cannondale Synapse 2 is a well-rounded endurance road bike built to deliver comfort, control, and efficiency across long distances and changing road surfaces.
Whether you're tackling weekend fondos, extending your daily rides, or just looking for a more forgiving road bike geometry, the Synapse 2 strikes a smart balance between performance and comfort.
Built for Endurance
At the heart of the Synapse 2 is Cannondale’s SmartForm C2 Alloy frame, engineered for strength and weight savings.
It’s lightweight without compromising durability, and the full carbon fork helps dampen road vibrations, offering a smoother, more confident ride. Especially over rougher surfaces and longer distances.
The endurance-focused geometry encourages a more upright position, helping reduce fatigue during extended sessions in the saddle.
Reliable Shifting
Equipped with the latest Shimano CUES U6000-series 10-speed groupset, the Synapse 2 offers smooth and dependable shifting performance.
CUES strikes a strong balance between function and value, making it an ideal choice for riders who want precision without the premium price tag.
The wide gear range makes it easy to manage rolling terrain, hills, or flat roads with efficiency.
Rolling Efficiency
This bike rolls on DT Swiss R470 rims, paired with Formula hubs, delivering a combination of reliability, stiffness, and smooth performance.
Whether you're coasting downhill or pushing up a long climb, the wheelset supports confident handling and efficient power transfer.
The wheels are wrapped in Vittoria Zaffiro Pro tyres that are 30mm wide. The Synapse 2 frame can accommodate a maximum of 32mm wide tyres.
