Grab a tape measure, write down the measurements and compare with our size chart for the right size. For best results, take measurements over your underwear. If your measurements fall between sizes, we suggest that you size up for a better fit.
1. HIPS
Holding the tape horizontally measure around the largest part of your hips keeping the feet close together.
2. INSEAM
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the ankle bone.

The Free bib short gets its name from the "feeling of freedom it provided" when the first generation launched in 2007. The Free Aero Race has been redesigned and rebuilt from the materials, to panel shape, to fit and feel, to make it even more comfortable on long-distance rides, and even more aerodynamic because every second counts.
Developed with input from professional riders, the Castelli Free Aero Race Bibshort Team Version combines aerodynamic performance with long-distance comfort. Vortex dimpled fabric on the outer legs helps smooth airflow, while highly elastic Forza fabric on the inner legs provides compression, support and a close racing fit. The minimalist Carré bib construction sits flat against the body, while the Progetto X2 Air seat pad delivers premium cushioning and breathability for long rides and racing.
