Castelli Womens Trasparente 2 Long Sleeve Jersey

The Castelli Trasparente 2 Jersey FZ is a premium women’s long-sleeve cycling jersey designed for cool, windy and changeable conditions. Sitting between a thermal jersey and a full winter jacket, it combines close-fitting performance with targeted wind protection, making it particularly versatile through autumn, winter and spring.

The front uses Windstopper® X-Lite stretch fabric, which is windproof and splash resistant while remaining flexible enough to maintain a comfortable cycling fit. The back uses Castelli’s Warmer fabric to provide insulation while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape. 

Compared with the original Trasparente concept, the second-generation design was developed with improved fit, better wind protection through the arms and additional splash protection, while retaining the lightweight, jersey-like feel that made the Trasparente range popular for transitional weather.

Recommended Temperature Range

Approximately 8°C – 18°C, depending on riding intensity and the base layer worn underneath. The Trasparente Due was designed primarily as an autumn/spring jersey but is warm enough to extend into milder winter riding with appropriate layering.

Best For

Cool-weather road cycling, windy rides, autumn and spring conditions, and mild winter days where a standard thermal jersey does not provide enough wind protection but a full winter jacket would be too warm.
