The Continental Cement for Alloy Rims (25g) is a specialised adhesive designed for securely attaching tubular tyres to alloy rims.
It is trusted by cyclists and mechanics for its high strength and reliability, ensuring tubular tyres remain firmly affixed during high-performance use.
- Strong Adhesion: Provides a secure bond between tubular tyres and alloy rims, preventing tyre slippage during intense riding or racing.
- Easy Application: Comes in a convenient 25g tube, making it simple to apply an even layer of adhesive.
- Fast Drying: Dries relatively quickly, allowing for efficient tyre installation.
- Specifically Formulated for Alloy Rims: Optimised to work with the unique surface properties of alloy rims for maximum effectiveness.
- Compact Packaging: Perfect for single tyre installations.
Usage Instructions:
- Clean the Rim and tyre: Ensure the rim surface and tyre base are clean and free of dust, grease, or old adhesive.
- Apply the Cement: Spread a thin, even layer of cement onto the rim and the base tape of the tubular tyre.
- Allow to Dry: Let the cement dry slightly, following the manufacturer’s recommended time (usually around 10 minutes).
- Install the tyre: Mount the tyre onto the rim carefully, ensuring proper alignment.
- Press Firmly: Apply consistent pressure around the tyre to ensure it bonds securely to the rim.
- Cure Time: Allow the adhesive to fully cure, often 24 hours, before riding.
