Continental Cement for Carbon Rims (25g)
The Continental Cement for Carbon Rims (25g) is a high-performance adhesive specifically formulated for bonding tubular tyres to carbon rims.
It ensures a secure and reliable attachment, designed to withstand the demands of competitive cycling.
- Optimised for Carbon Rims: Formulated to provide a strong and durable bond with the unique surface properties of carbon rims.
- High Heat Resistance: Withstands the higher temperatures generated during braking on carbon rims, reducing the risk of tyre slippage.
- Easy Application: The 25g tube offers precision application, perfect for single tyre installations or touch-ups.
- Fast Setting: Dries efficiently to reduce downtime during installations while providing a strong bond.
- Trusted Durability: Maintains adhesion even under high stress and prolonged use.
Usage Instructions:
- Prepare the Rim and tyre: Ensure the carbon rim and tyre base are clean and free from old glue, grease, or debris.
- Apply Cement: Spread a thin, uniform layer of cement onto the rim and the tyre’s base tape.
- Drying Time: Let the cement set slightly for the recommended time (usually around 15 minutes).
- Mount the tyre: Carefully align and mount the tubular tyre onto the rim.
- Press and Secure: Apply consistent pressure along the tyre to ensure proper bonding.
- Allow to Cure: Let the adhesive cure fully (typically 24 hours) before riding to ensure maximum.
