E-Bike United City Bikes The One U2
UCB have designed the world’s lightest folding electric bike. And it’s called the The One. Ambitious? Totally, but you can’t deny that it’s pushing the limits of E-bike design and engineering. It’s certainly the cleanest folding electric bike we’ve come across. It has no ugly wiring, integrated lights, and easy folding mechanism.
There are 3 models in The One range: the U1, U2.1 and U2. And all of them weigh in at 12.5kg. When it’s folded, it’s super compact. The folded length is 76.5cm, the folded width is 25cm and the folded height is 64cm.
The One is also completely waterproof.
There are also 2 modes: Bicycle Mode (no assistance) and Pedal Assist Mode (variable assistance)
United City Bikes also claim a folding time of 10 seconds. Making it flexible and easy to fold and unfold in almost any situation. In addition to the above, The One U2 also features a battery range of up to 52km (although this does vary depending on rider weight, terrain, elevation etc.) and hydraulic disc brakes.
