Power When You Need It

At the heart of the Talon E+ 1 is the Giant SyncDrive Core motor, developed in partnership with Yamaha. This motor delivers a smooth and natural-feeling 50Nm of torque. It's just the right amount of support when climbing hills or accelerating on the flats.

There are 5 different assist levels and an Auto-mode.

In Auto-mode, smart sensors adjust power instantly based on your effort and gradient.

This creates a seamless riding experience. And feels like a natural extension of your own effort.

Long-Lasting, Easy-to-Charge Battery

Equipped with a 500Wh EnergyPak, the Talon E+ 1 gives you the power to ride further and explore longer.

Whether you're out for a quick afternoon trail session or an all-day adventure, you’ll appreciate the range and reliability.

The side-release battery design makes it easy to remove and charge at home. While the included 4A smart charger reduces downtime between rides.

Under ideal conditions, the larger battery delivers a range of 170kms. But conditions are always ideal, so most riders will get approximately 100-130kms out of a full charge.

Confident, Balanced Ride Quality

This bike is built around Giant’s trusted ALUXX-grade aluminium frame. Giant are master engineers. So it's designed for the rigours of mountain biking and added weight of the electronics.

The  Suntour XCR suspension fork smoothly soaks up bumps and calms the handling.

It has bigger proportions than the fork used on the Talon E+ 3 (model down). This makes it stiffer for better handling on trails.

Next, the XCR uses a massive 15mm diameter thru-axle. Compared to the 5mm quick-release on the Talon E+ 3.

So, consider the Talon E+ 1 you're a bigger rider or want better front-end handling.

29-inch wheels roll efficiently over rough terrain, providing extra stability and grip. Especially when descending or cornering.

Shimano Gears and Brakes

The Shimano Deore 10-speed components are a mid-range mountain bike drivetrain system.

Deore is a work horse.

Designed for reliability, durability, and smooth shifting across varied terrain. Plus it's very affordable to replace.

The Deore drivetrain is paired with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Not only do these have a very smooth lever feel, they have excellent stopping power.
