The Giant Trance X1 is designed for riders who want a playful Enduro or heavy-duty Trail mountain bike with superb suspension and brakes.
With quick-handling 27.5 wheels and adjustable frame geometry.
Premium Frame
The ALUXX SL aluminium frame has an updated Maestro rear suspension featuring 145mm of smooth, active rear travel.
Confidence is further bolstered by a 160mm travel suspension fork up front.
ALUXX SL frames are a better than average aluminium frame. They use 2 different wall thickness tubing. This reduces weight and increases stiffness.
The result?
Better handling over tree roots, rocks and technical terrain.
The new flip chip feature lets you change the head-tube and seat-tube angles, as well as the bottom bracket height, to fine-tune handling for varying trail conditions and individual riding style.
There are 2 positions for riders to choose from:
- High
- Low
In High, the Trance X 1 becomes more responsive at low speeds. It also sits higher, so pedalling over tree roots and rocks becomes a little easier.
For riders, spending more time on high-speed trails where stable handling is necessary, choose the Low position.
The Low position lowers the Trance X 1 and slackens the bike out. This means the front of the Trance X 1 gets pushed further out, improving high-speed handling.
Premium Suspension
Giant uses premium Fox suspension on the Trance X 1.
A Fox 36 Performance Elite front suspension is the second-best in the range. It features 160mm of travel and Fox's GRIP2 damper.
It features adjustments like High and Low Speed Compression and Rebound. Plus air pressure. All these adjustments mean you can really fine tune how the suspension feels over a variety of terrain types.
SRAM Gears and Brakes
The SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain offers precise shifting performance with a wide gear range suited to challenging climbs and fast descents.
Featuring a 12-speed cassette with a massive 520% range, GX Eagle allows riders to maintain an efficient cadence over varied terrain.
The system uses SRAM’s proven X-Actuation™ technology for consistent shifting across the entire cassette, while the Eagle™ chain and X-Sync™ 2 chainring design enhance chain retention and durability.
GX Eagle is built for trail and enduro riding. And strikes a balance between high performance, long-term reliability and value.
SRAM Code R hydraulic disc brakes are designed for consistent stopping power in demanding riding conditions.
Using a bigger 4-piston caliper, they deliver strong braking performance with excellent modulation, allowing riders to maintain control on steep descents and technical trails.
The tool-free reach adjustment lets you fine-tune lever position for comfort, while the large brake pads and heat management system help ensure reliability on long descents.
Built for enduro, downhill, and aggressive trail riding, Code R brakes provide the confidence needed when speed and control matter most.
