MP2 SUSPENSION

Dual suspension platforms open up a whole new world of on-trail speed and control. The Dakar & Faultline models feature our proven MP2 design, the suspension platform that’s won numerous industry accolades and Bike of the Year awards. 

Asymmetrical Chainstays

The Dakar’s chainstays are asymmetrical, with an elevated straight stay on the non-drive side and a dropped curved stay on the drive side. The drive side must be dropped & curved to clear the chainring, but running the non-drive side straight from the dropout to BB pivot reduces weight while significantly stiffening the rear triangle laterally. This design also helps improve tyre clearance.
