PieProof Cycle Helmet
Outside of swooping season, remove the ear protectors and visor for light, cool and stylish protection.
Thousands of cyclists are injured each year by Swooping Magpie attacks either through direct contact, or because the stressed rider loses control of the bike when trying to fight off the bird. The unique Magpie-Proof design of a PieProof helmet won't stop aggressive birds from attacking you (very little will), but it will give you the confidence to ride calmly through aggressive attacks knowing that you are protected.
This lightweight (just 270g in Med) helmet has been designed by a Dutch-Australian Engineer to keep you safe and calm year-round.
The strong, integrated Magpie-proof mesh lets cool air in and stops sharp beaks and claws from contacting your head (as well as stinging insects!). There's no need to try to fight off the bird and risk a crash in the process.
Narrow, angled rear vents stop sharp beaks and claws from entering the helmet.
The detachable ear protectors cover a favourite zone for attacking Magpies and also keep the chilly wind off your ears during winter.
The detachable visor when coupled with protective glasses reduces the risk of injury to the eyes or face.
Both can be detached in seconds and stored away for next Spring.
