Shimano Equinox CE-EQNX4 Road Sunglasses

The Equinox merge function and comfort with style, with a stiff, lightweight frame and interchangeable one-piece lens which boosts clarity of vision and provides a wider view with better eye protection.

The Equinox comes with two lenses, the Ridescape RD (Road) lens and a Ridescape CL (Cloudy) lens. Both provide a sun protection rating of UV400. These glasses are exceptionally lightweight at just 30g (frame + 1 lens).

RIDESCAPE RD LENS

Road riding tuned lenses feature 21% light transmission that is ideal for riding in sunny and clear conditions. The RD (Road) lens enhance certain colors and suppress others to boost asphalt contrast.

RIDESCAPE CL LENS

Also included is the Ridescape CL (Cloudy) Lens. Ideal for lowlight and wet riding conditions, the Ridescape CL (Cloudy) spare lens delivers 82% light transmission for better visual performance when its cloudy, rainy, or dark. They also feature an anti-reflective treatment that reduces oncoming headlight glare and there is a hydrophobic coating on all outer and inner lens surfaces that increases water and sweat repellency to keep lenses free from dust, oil, and dirt so they stay cleaner longer and are easier to maintain.

RIDESCAPE lenses have an ultra-clear and lightweight Polyamide (PA) substrate with a low refractive index(1), high Abbe value(2) and superior light transmittance for laser sharp optics.
(1) An optical material's refractive index describes how light is bent and slows down as it travels through it. The lower the index the higher the visual clarity. 
(2) Abbe value is a number that describes the amount of chromatic aberration (colored fringes around an image that cause blurriness). The higher the number the clearer the image.
