These J04C-MF pads are made with metal instead of regular resin, which gives you stronger braking power.

What makes these special:

  • Metal compound lasts longer than regular pads and works better when wet or muddy.
  • The metal fin helps keep the brakes from getting too hot during long downhills.
  • Spring and split pin help the pads work smoothly and stay in place.

When to use metal pads

These are great for mountain biking, riding in wet weather, or heavier riders who needs extra stopping power. They last longer than regular pads but can be a bit noisier.

Important:

Metal pads work better than regular pads but may wear down your brake discs faster over time. They also need a short break-in period where you brake gently several times to make them work their best.
