Updated for 11-speed drivetrains, the SLX M7000 incorporates Shimano's new Shadow+ technology for enhanced chain stability and retention.

Shadow+ is a stabiliser unit built into the SLX rear derailleur that minimises chain slap and quietens the drivetrain down.

20% lighter shifting operation.
Shadow design with optimised slant angle (it sits inboard of the frame and is less likely to get snagged on rocks and tree stumps).
OptiSlick shift cable with new hyper low-friction coating technology.
Chain stability improved through Shadow+ stabiliser design.
Efficient shifting and smoother driving.
Efficient pulley teeth design.
GS = Medium Cage.
For 2x11 drivetrains, maximum cassette size is 42T.
For 1x11 drivetrains, maximum cassette size is 46T.
