Updated for 11-speed drivetrains, the SLX M7000 incorporates Shimano's new Shadow+ technology for enhanced chain stability and retention.
Shadow+ is a stabiliser unit built into the SLX rear derailleur that minimises chain slap and quietens the drivetrain down.
- 20% lighter shifting operation.
- Shadow design with optimised slant angle (it sits inboard of the frame and is less likely to get snagged on rocks and tree stumps).
- OptiSlick shift cable with new hyper low-friction coating technology.
- Chain stability improved through Shadow+ stabiliser design.
- Efficient shifting and smoother driving.
- Efficient pulley teeth design.
- GS = Medium Cage.
- For 2x11 drivetrains, maximum cassette size is 42T.
- For 1x11 drivetrains, maximum cassette size is 46T.
