SixSixOne 661 Recon Advance Knee Pads

Based upon the lightweight Recon pads, the Sixsixone Recon Advanced Knee Pads take protection up a notch, with D3O® LP1 inserts to deliver EN 1621-1 level protection.

When you’re on the trails you know that falling is all part of the mountain biking game. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen too often, but when it does you’ll be happy to have protection via the Recon Advanced Knee Pads.

When you’re on the bike, they’re light enough and flexible enough not to get in the way of smooth pedalling and easy manoeuvrability. But if and when you crash, the D3O ® LP1 insert provides outstanding impact absorption. Flexible when pedalling, it hardens upon impact as crash forces are dissipated to prevent knee injuries.

To the upper, lower and sides you also get thermo-moulded EVA inserts, providing comprehensive protection all-around your knee. And if that wasn’t enough, optional hardshell caps can be added (not supplied) providing more impact and slide protection too.

With breathable fabrics and one-piece slip-on sleeve construction, with silicone leg grippers, you can be sure these pads both stay put and ensure you don’t feel too hot and sweaty during your mountain bike ride.
