Maxxis High Road Tubeless Ready Folding Road Tyre
The High Road is Maxxis' all-purpose road race tyre with a light-weight casing, upgraded puncture protection, and a revised tread pattern. The result is a lighter, faster, and more durable High Road.
HYPR COMPOUND
HYPR is a full-silica compound and our best-performing compound to date. Compared to our previous road racing compound, HYPR has 16% less rolling resistance with 23% better grip in wet conditions. Impressively, HYPR decreases rolling resistance and increases traction, all while keeping durability equal to our previous rubber compounds.
ZK
ZK is Maxxis' next generation puncture protection material that is lighter, more flexible, and stronger than previous materials such as K2. Maxxis typically uses ZK as a breaker layer, situated underneath the tread in the middle of the tyre.
TUBELESS READY
Tubeless ready tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting because there is no tube. Tubeless ready tyres are denoted by the letters "TR" on the sidewall. Tubeless ready tyres must be mounted to tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added benefit of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check your sealant regularly and refresh as needed as it will dry out over time. Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tyres : tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tyre will void the warranty
