The Fox Speedframe helmet is a premium mountain biking helmet known for its lightweight design, excellent ventilation and enhanced protection via MIPS and deep head coverage.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a liner for added safety in rotational impacts. MIPS is used in both the standard Speedframe and the Speedframe Pro.

Undermoulding is also used on both versions of the Speedframe. The plastic shell extends under the helmet, minimising exposed foam and deterioration..

The adjustable visor is optimised for goggle compatibility, and the helmet offers a 360-degree fit system for a customised, secure fit.

With its combination of style, comfort, and protection, the Speedframe is ideal for trail riders and recreational riders who want above average protection for their head.

Fox Speedframe.

There are 2 versions of the Fox Speedframe.

The standard Speedframe helmet uses the MIPS Essential Core rotational liner and a standard buckle.

It still has under-moulding to prevent any exposed foam. And the deep coverage is the same as the Speedframe Pro.

The Essential Core rotational layer is a little heavier than the Air Node below.

Fox Speedframe Pro.

When riders move to the Speedframe Pro, they get:

  • MIPS Air Node layer
  • Dual-density Varizorb EPS which dissipates impacts better
  • FIDLOCK SNAP magnetic helmet buckle
  • Ionic+® liner for exceptional moisture absorption.

The MIPS Air Node is lighter and delivers more ventilation. So if you have a tendency to sweat, the extra ventilation is going to make riding in the Speedframe Pro very comfortable.
